Your royalties may be taxable. Please consult your tax advisor. We require you to complete an IRS tax Form W-9 or IRS tax Form W8-BEN, depending on your residency. We only accept such forms from the individual who signs our publishing agreement.
Royalty Payments
Author receives a royalty for each copy sold, minus returns and distribution fees.
The royalty rate for copies sold to bookstores is 100% of net receipts. The royalty rate for other sales is 75% of net receipts. Net receipts are defined as the total amount of money Dunamis Press receives for book sales, less distribution charges, returns, taxes, credit card facilitation charges, shipping and handling charges.
Authors receive no royalties on copies they sell themselves or through non-distribution channels. Royalties are paid semi-annually, approximately 45 days after the end of June and December.
